More Than Monsters

“Mythology is an ongoing series of monsters from folklore, urban legend, and of course, mythology. I aspire to spreading critical thinking and skepticism. While monsters and cryptids beg a level of belief, I don’t find the possibility of their existence to be more important than their cultural impact. Monsters help us define who we are and carry burdens of their time and environment. The weirdness of a creature may help us grapple with our own identities. Stories of monster inspire new tales, and remind of of who we were. These are the pieces of mythology I’m here to hold onto.”
